A Big Monday

I took the week off after I finished my Solstice 31 Saga.

Today I start working on my next project titled: Proper Darkness

I believe there will be more guns in this science fiction novel. I have decided to make up all the various Makes and Models that will appear. These will include:

• Handguns
• Shotguns
• Carbines
• Rifles
• Suppressors

I differentiate Carbines and Rifles by the distance it was designed to be used. I am also planning on new ammo standards as well.

• No ejected casings
• Frangible ammo for inside ships and stations
• Advanced armor piercing for destroying same
• Specialty projectiles

Busy These Days

I just finished the first draft of my Scifi Novel. Last night I started the first edit. It has just over 192,000 words.

It was running over 1000 pages and it's time to cut it down to a reasonable size. My goal is about 105,000 words.

I started last night and managed to cut it by 52,000 already. That included the first three chapters and an entire subplot. That was easy because they were whole chapters.

I have given up TV for the most part, that was easy. I try to work at it two hours each evening.

--Now it's line by line revision time!
