RIP: Anthony Scalia

You probably know already that Supreme Court Justice Anthony Scalia died suddenly at 79 years old.

I respected Scalia.

Not only because he supported the Second Amendment, and the entire bill of rights. But he was one of the breed that could get along and be friends with people that did not hold the same beliefs. I didn't agree with him on everything but would have enjoyed having dinner with him.

His death will be a massive monkey wrench in politics during an already whacked election year.

--RIP, Your Honor. You will be missed.

Person of the Week: Officer Jesse Hartnett

This week, Officer Jesse Hartnett was attacked, ambushed, by an Islamic Extremist. He was shot at 13 times and even though he was wounded he returned fire hitting the bastard who was later apprehended. Officer Hartnett is in stable condition but his arm was severely damaged.

--Get well soon Jesse.

Person of the Week: Retired Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn

Retired in 2014, Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn
Retired in 2014, Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn, President Obama’s former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency at the Pentagon, served in the U.S. Army for 30 years but believes the nation is being lead by an ideological allegiance that crowds out strategies and decisions based on facts on the ground.

According to the candid Flynn, President Obama — who called ISIS a “JV team” — is downplaying the Islamic threat and overstating our readiness because of an allegiance to his ideology. The energetic general dismisses the tone-deaf Democrat or media elite’s focus on gun control or Islamaphobia after the Paris and San Bernardino terrorist attacks. Flynn says, “It is about religion, and not about gun control.”
