I saw this Silencer Thread Reference on Facebook this week. I could have used this simple guide years ago.
One thing I would like tp point out is that typical .22 and 9mm barrels are threaded the same.
I knew this already as my 9mm can fits nicely on my Savage .22 bolt action rifle.
The caution is that a .22 suppressor could be screwed onto a 9mm.

NFA Trust
SilencerCo has a new offering called EasyTrust. I have several NFA items and have planned on setting up a trust. I may try this and report back.
I will quote from the website:
"A properly-prepared gun trust has significant advantages for gun owners. It enables the use of NFA-regulated firearms and accessories among trustees, protects against potential future regulatory restrictions, and provides for the orderly transition of ownership upon death. It also tends to speed up the process for obtaining NFA items, eliminating the need for a Chief Law Enforcement Officer’s signature, fingerprints cards, etc"
"The EasyTrust is 50-state legal. The process of ratification will differ by state, but we’ll send you a document detailing the processes you’ll need to follow. We priced the EasyTrust at $129.99 – a fraction of the cost of typical gun trusts – to make it accessible to everyone. Reject the idea that a trust is a luxury item. In reality, it’s a must-have for anyone looking to #FightTheNoise. All EasyTrust sales are final."
--I will buy one.
(Update: I bought one. More later!)

Range Weekend
It's a range weekend!
A crew of friends will be going and shooting .22 rifles.
I will be taking in my Ruger 10/22 with Integral Suppressor. I call her Squirrelsbane.
I will be cutting into my stockpile of ammo for this range run. .22LR is still very thin out there.
I am looking into getting the new BX-Trigger for her. I was hoping to handle one before I order one.
I also have a new bipod I am going to try.
--In all, still cheap shooting!

Still Waiting.
I keep rushing to the mailbox every day, like a kid looking for a secret decoder ring. The paperwork for my next suppressor is due now any day.
This can will work on my Remington 700 .308 or my .300 Blackout SBR.

Cleaning the Ruger 10/22
My Ruger 10/22 finally had it's turn on the bench for a full dissemble and cleaning.
I use to do a full strip and clean at least once a year on all my guns but it's been about three years now for this one.
The gun was still shooting well even though it was super filthy. It is a real testament to the Ruger 10/22.
This is the 10/22 from my collection that has the integral suppressor. This my be my very favorite firearm.
--Now I want to take her out and get her dirty...

Before and After
Yesterday I cracked open my Ruger Mark III for some long overdue serious cleaning. Probably 5000 rounds of .22LR.
This thing was dirty.
On the right I have a couple before and after shots of the filth.
It took me and my evil minion Tony over and hour with dental tools to get this back to clean.
Funny thing is, the gun still shot just fine. Even that filthy.
We detailed cleaned my Mark II and my Mark III. Both are now ready to rock.
--We also cleaned my S&W 629-2. I will post about that tomorrow!
