I didn't watch the debate. I do not believe that the debates will change any minds.

I am starting to believe Trump will win for the same reasons President Obama won. He is the least establishment candidate. Hillary is clearly a career politician. The same reason Bernie was so popular. It was also a mistake for her to wear red.

I also think Trump would be way more fun for late night TV comedians. Plus the media would start doing it's job again as a watchdog.

In completely unrelated news, nothing to do with the pending Zombie Apocalypse, I got a new AR15 upper yesterday. More on that later.

More killings by Radical Islam. Media says nothing to see here. Go watch Dancing with the Stars.

The deficit is about to hot $20 Trillion. Nothing to see here either.

Random Mondays

It's Monday and a well is dry.

Self imposed writing deadlines have seriously cut into my range time.

My wife found an ammo can for me at a yard sale for 1$. Always handy. I Need about 10 more.

Still have not found another holster for my Glock 26. The search continues.

It has cooled off. I love the Autumn.

The Hillary Clinton meat puppet ran it's batteries all the way down yesterday. The lies flow easy. No health issues here. She was too hot. (it was 79degrees) Today they are saying pneumonia. It looked like she was having a stroke. More lies coming soon.

Day number 11 of the heat wave. Only 93 degrees today.

I am wearing a Hawaiian shirt.

Another Metro derailment. Sheesh.

And another elevator cable broke in the Washington Monument. DC sucks at maintenance.

Gun content is thin this week. I am still lovin the Glock 26 for concealed carry.

After being on vacation for two weeks I am really enjoying my King Bed!

Wikileaks exposed corruption in the DNC. The Chair was forced to resign, not because she was corrupt, but because she was caught. She was then immediately hired as Hillary's campaign Chair. Hillary does not even try to hide her corruption any more.

It is so hot here this week. Thank god for AC!

Nineteen dead in a knife attack in Japan. Ban Knives must be the solution. (Oh, and trucks BTW)

I have been coming up dry with blog fodder of late. I have not gone to the range either in a month. I thing I can solve both of these issues at once.

The Republican Nation Convention has begun. The biggest thing they are talking about is the speech of Trumps wife.

I am looking for a new daily carry and I think It will be a Glock 26. Getting all the way into the Glock bed for my utility guns.

My daughter graduates from college tomorrow. Never got anything but an A. She already has a real job, a living wage,moving into a bigger apartment. She has NO STUDENT LOANS. She wants to flip houses on the weekends. I take full credit for rising her right!

I have a series of doctor appointments coming up. I wonder if they will ask about my guns?

Who are these crazy people doing cellphone videos of tornadoes?

I have seen a lot of cool animations of gun functions. Makes a lot of things clear.

Lots of good stuff happening on the book writing front. The Broken Cage is doing great on Audible! My next novel is soooo close to release. Plus I am writing my next novel!

Sixteen straight days of rain. At least the lawn is green.

This seemed like a good idea?

Going to be a busy weekend.

I plan on going to the range tonight. Saturday is a writers conference all day. Hopefully I will learn how not be a dumbass  when I write. Sunday will be my writers group and lots of coffee.

Prince died of a drug overdose.

I know many people loved this guy but I think he was an idiot.

Drugs? Really?

I bought a new SUV last night. More on that when I get Pics!

My daughter is graduating from college in a couple weeks. Wow. Time is flying.

I swear I could make a whole other cat from all the damn cat hair has shed.

Monday Blues

Monday is dragging me down this week.

I had a great weekend of writing.

There was minimal gun related stuff this weekend. This month I am carrying my Px4 in my Crossbreed IWB holster. It is very comfy and invisible.

This weekend I will be cleaning up the gun room and getting ready for my next project.
I am going to set up a Suppressed AR15 in 5.56mm.
I already have a suppressed AR15 in .300 Blackout and it is excellent.

I need a good place to buy a complete upper. Any recommendations? I have the lower complete already.

The political adds on TV have politicians calling for an Assault Weapons Ban. Really? I thought the experiment was settled. Stupid people are stupid.

The preview is out for STAR WARS: Rogue One and it looks really good to me. I love stories with strong women. Disney will make so much money. I will be watching The Force Awakens again this weekend in my home theater. I hope the special features are awesome.

Running on empty today.

The pollen is killing me. If I am outside more than fifteen minutes I start wheezing like an old man.

Going to the range tonight and have not decided what to shoot. Probably my new .22LR again. I'll go to the 100 yard indoor range and dial it in.

A new coffee shop opened in Old Town Manassas. I may go and check it out tonight.

My cat is very demanding this morning. He thinks I need more fur on me.

Going to try to go to the range again this weekend. Alone. In the morning. On the 100 yard indoor range. Need to finish dialing in my new Savage MarkII.

I have a self imposed deadline for my third Scifi Novel on March 21st. Might need to take a day off.

The news and the election run up is getting to me.

That same girl that is taking it in the face, also believes that only the police and military should have guns. I'd bet money.

My son is disgusted of his generation. "These people need to read The Communist Manifesto. These fools need to study history. Socialism never ends well."

I'm going town shopping today with my wife. By that I mean looking at a town we are considering for retirement. Today is Lynchburg VA. Looks good from the Internet. Has all we are looking for. So we are going to go stalk the city. Drive around and look in its streets and markets and malls and hospitals and parks and neighborhoods...

Now if only we could find a big mid century modern house with a bob shelter!

Coming up dry on this Monday morning. I stayed up too late last night watching football and I have not watched a single game this season.

There were no chicken wings, dammit.

I should have something more interesting to talk about tomorrow because I think I will go to the range tomorrow.

My wife got her concealed carry permit in the mail on Saturday. I am going to laminate it today.

I finally found some .300 blackout at a decent price, at Walmart of all places.

Got some new scope rings. Now I need the rifle to go under them.

I could not force myself to watch the Republican debates last night. It was the same with the State of the Union address. It makes me miss Richard Nixon.

My wife took her concealed carry training class this week. She wants me to find a shoulder rig for her.

Weather finally got freezing cold.

It is a long weekend for me with MLK Monday off. I should be able to get a lot of writing done.

I am really hating the media today. We have a safer world now than we have ever had. They use fear to sell soap.

I am mostly tired of the term "Gun Violence" as if other kinds of murder doesn't count.

Well it's another Monday and I am running dry on blog fodder.

The Powerball lotto is up to $1.3 Billion. The 'what if I won?' dream list of guns I would buy has been simplified to ALL. If you had that much cash I would be buying gun stores, security firms, and secure compounds.

All our Christmas decorations are down now. The house seems much bigger inside.

This is the first 5 day work week for me since Thanksgiving week! Oh the Humanity!

I may go see Star Wars again this week in IMAX 3D.

I hope to finish up the first draft of my next novel this week.

They just said there is an Arctic Chill headed this way. I'm ready. I have a Ka-Bar ice scraper!

I saw some of this hidden compartment furniture at the Nations Gun Show a couple weeks ago. Nice but pricey.

Speaking of the gun show. It has gotten bigger. Another room has been added that is the size of a gymnasium, but it was still really crowded.

I also saw bulk quantities of subsonic .300 Blackout. Cheaper on-line still, even with shipping.

My 19 year old son asked if a shotgun was a possible Christmas gift. I'm still smiling.

Today is going to be sunny and 72 and I have to work, dammit.

Bloomberg is dumping his cash into the Virginia. He doesn't seem to be focusing on gun issues. In fact, I believe that stating in his ads that the opponent was given an A rating from the NRA is back firing.

A $175 million dollar blimp escaped yesterday. It dragged a 6700 foot steel cable along behind it. It knocked out power for about 20,000 people. Someone is sooo fired.

Another Republican debate last night. Not all Trump.

--I need to get to the range. Bad.

Fall temps are here and I am loving it. The rain is over finally.

I am going shooting this weekend with a friend. I might even have some gun related content and photos soon!

I had to post this image again this week. More Progressive gun grabbing crap this week.

A woman on TV was all offended because the LEGO Pirate Ship she bought had a pirate slave on the ship. Fuck you lady and your sensibilities and censorship. I recommend you don't buy my Scifi novel because it has slaves in the story.  And characters use the word Fuck. Oh and so does this blog!

Another Gun Free Zone failed yesterday. When will this experiment be cancelled because it clearly creates a victim rich zone.

Only a good guy with a gun can stop a bad guy with a gun.

I had another book signing last night! I got to meet a pile of other authors! Big fun and I learned a lot!

The Nations Gun Show is this weekend. I am going to see if I can find some bulk subsonic .300BO that is less than a dollar a round.

I am sick of the rain. But I will sit and drink coffee and write scifi anyway.

I was actually going to go to the Drive-in this weekend. Except it's raining!

I just got back from a trip to my home town just outside Buffalo NY.

Had to go unarmed. I hate that feeling. It has to be the same feeling some woman get when they suddenly realize they don't have their purse.

 I will be signing books and chatting with readers again!
