Remington 870 Conversion Kit

Remington 870 Conversion Kit
I love the idea of magazine fed 12 gauge shotguns.

I have a Saiga and I love that.

I saw this conversion kit for a Remington 870 that switched it from tube to magazine. They also have kits for Mossberg 500 series.

It accepts standard Saiga mags, even the big drum mags.

The cost for the kit is $499.

--Might be a fun project in the future. I have a lot of other things I need to spend $500 on though.

I wouldn't call it a "kit". It's a complete receiver compatible with Saiga mags and Remington (or Mossberg) parts.

In other words, it's technically a brand new gun that has a very high degree of parts commonality.

Having said that, I do like it, especially for a Mossy. . . think 590 with bayonet lug and ghost rings, Saiga mags. . .

CAPTCHA: "Pleepul buy" Yes, many pleepul WILL buy this.

I must say that the Miller system is more than a kit. I believe that someone else said the same thing. I think it is absolutely kick ass, it being able to accept the drum mags is brilliant. Yes it is costly but you are essentially getting a new high capacity shotgun. I am saving up as I write this, I have both 2 mossburg-500's and 2 Remington 870's now one has been modified just the way I want it I won't go into all of the details but believe me it is very nice. I am going to try the "kit" on one of my mossberg-500's once I have the money. I am really excited I wish there was a kit for the Remington model 887, some people don't like the 887 I think it is a awesome shotgun. I have the tactical model, unless you are bird hunting the tactical model is the best way to go. If you go on Utube you can find a good video that will give you instructions for modifying your Remington 887 with a adjustable buttstock and a pistol grip. I have a good friend that has done this and it makes a danm good shotgun into a fantastic/badass shotgun! I will say this buy American and stick with Mossburg or Remington, don't forget Winchester or Browning I am not as familiar with these manufacturers but here in the USA we make some danm good shotguns! Thanks for reading try some of my suggestions you will find the Remington 887 is a very nice shotgun and if you know about shotguns you know the model 870 is one of the best shotguns ever made along with the Mossburg 500/590. Exercise your 2nd amendment rights. GOD BLESS THE USA!!!

Looks like they aren't selling the receivers separately anymore. Only complete guns.

Probably because not enough customers wanted to do the work themselves, and they didn't offer their pump return spring modification as a seperate "part", only a "feature" on complete guns.

The kit looks very interesting and fun to play but most of the magazine-fed shotguns are not reliable. So I would stick to my super reliable magazine tube fed Remington 870 for home defense.

Why spend $500 on a kit to modify your existing 870 when you can buy the 870DM for $530 which remmington will repair if anything goes wrong? Don't forget to upgrade your extractor either way, the nonMIM ONES are way more durable if you plan to put a bunch of shells through it.
