The Rifle I Never Wanted

I have a bright, shiny, almost new Air Rifle. My brothers wife gave it to me. He died last month. He was 53.

 Remington Vantage 1200 in .177
She gave me this Rifle, an old AR-7, and his Honda XR200 dirt bike.

I have decided that I will be keeping this Air Rifle in cherry condition and one day gift it to a grandson or granddaughter of his.

His two daughters have not had any children yet. But when they do I will be part of their lives. I will make sure they know how great their grandfather was.

-Dammit, I miss him.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I'm pleased though that you are preserving his memory and hobbies for his grandchildren.

Sorry about your brother, but that's a noble thing you're doing for his kids.
