I am very impressed with my new suppressor on my Remington 700.

In the video you can hear an AR15 four lanes over. Then you hear the suppressed .308. It sounds about the same as a .22LR round that is not suppressed.

Give it a listen. We'll wait.

No NRA Annual Meeting for Me

I just could not work out the details to attend the NRA Annual Meeting in Nashville this year.

I am looking forward to the reports of friends from the field.

It really is to bad because I have friends that live in Nashville. I also have an interest in all the towns between here and there for potential retirement locations.

Picking up another suppressor tonight

I got the call that my 30 cal suppressor paperwork is done. I will be stopping in after work today to pick it up. This is the can that the paperwork was lost. It still is lost. They are sending me a certified copy of a copy, and this copy does not include the tax stamp.

--ATF says "It's fine."

It's all about the Book this week.

I see 9mm ammo prices are dropping nicely.

Baseball season starts today. I only mention it because I might actually go to a game this year.

I can see green LASERs far easier than red.

I confess, I want to put suppressors on everything.

The bacon my wife makes in the oven is always perfect.

I am thinking about buying a new car and a foundation requirement is that my favorite, full size, double rifle case, must fit inside it easily. Do they make Mustang station wagons?

Gun Contol Advocate Sarah Brady has Died.

Sarah Brady has died after losing a long battle with cancer.

Kind of a metaphor for her gun control fight.

I think her effort peeked with the 90's assault weapons ban, that in the end, only proved that she was wrong.

Since it expired, she had to watch all her work erode, disappear, and even fall farther as the facts dismantled their assertions.

It is regrettable, that kind of zealousness was never used for efforts that would actually make people safer.

Loving the New Suppressor

I was shooting my new suppressor this week at the range and did a taste between my regular range ammo and the subsonic Remington HTP rounds.

The difference was amazing.

It was not crowed at ESS on Tuesday evening. The side by side tests were easy to tell the difference. Shooting the rounds back to back revealed the massive difference.

I decided that I need to do a video demo to demonstrate the value of these subsonic rounds.
