I have been looking for a new conceal carry revolver and the new Taurus 85PLYB2 fits the bill.
"The Protector Polymer in .38 Special +P blends a unique design with modern updates that weighs in at a scant 18.2 ounces. This smart little number draws quickly with a fully shrouded zero-profile hammer and features a classically inspired grip that offers the look of wood but the purchase and durability of polymer. Just like its cousins it’s a best buy in its size— now in a cool new set-up."
At 18.2 ounces, with smooth edges and filled with +P ammo, I could carry this easily. I also really like the exposed low profile hammer if you want to single action sometimes. All this and the MSRP is a low $445.
--I want to shoot one! Should be fun! Snappy!

I love Taurus for stepping out on the raggedy edge and keeping revolvers alive.
That said I think my Glock 26 can do just about any carry task I need.
Meh, I'm still not sold on the Taurus cache. I'd go for that Ruger offering of a plastic revolver before this, personally. And I'd go Smith&Wesson before that.
Though, correct me if I'm wrong, Taurus is known to be good with service after the sale. Even if a little slow.
That IS a handsome grip, I admit.
I'll Stick with my Charter Arms On duty, only 12.5 oz and American made. It does have a polymer grip frame too.
The 85plyb2 appears to be a nice little gun. To bad their not avail.
Compare this to the Ruger LCR.
Once you put them side by side, there is NO way anyone would actually pick the Taurus.
The Ruger is only $55 more, and is years ahead in build quality.
Check it out yourself.

Hey would you mind sharing which blog platform you're working with? I'm planning to start my own blog in the near future but I'm having a hard time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something unique.
P.S Apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!
