Another Reason I Love Virginia

Late Antlerless-Only Firearms Deer Season January 3, 2011-March 26, 2011

"In the counties (including the cities and towns within) of Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, and Prince William, except on Department-owned lands. During this season only antlerless deer may be taken."

Deer season in VA now goes from September to March. I am glad because I have only managed to get into the woods twice this year. My freezer is currently bereft of venison.

--A day in the woods, seeing no deer, is still better than a good day in the office...
