Another Mass shooting

Ann Hathaway in The Dark Knight Rises
As of 6am, 12 people are dead, possibly including some kids and 50 others wounded after a gunman in a suburb outside Denver opened fire during a midnight showing of the Batman movie the "Dark Knight Rises," the police chief said at a press conference. The shooting began during a violent scene in the movie adding confusion.

The 24 year old suspect is in custody, Aurora police chief Daniel J. Oates told reporters. "This is a horrific event," Aurora police chief Daniel J. Oates said during a press conference carried live by local TV stations.

Oates said 10 people were found dead in the theater, and the others died at local hospitals.

My heart goes out to the victims and their families. This story will develop as the day goes by. Speculation details on the news are changing as the morning rolls by. At various times they said there were bombs and poison gas and smoke? Massive confusion.

I am preparing myself for being pissed off at the Brady Bunch rejoicing over the incident and dancing in the blood of the victims.

--A rifle and a handgun were found at the scene.

Who brings children to a midnight showing of a 3 hour movie? Heck, I don't think I could stay awake to 3AM in a dark room like that.

And it's an Election Year, so I wonder how much scrambling is happening in the White House this morning to rig up an "Imperial Edict" from the Anointed One to do some sort of Gun Ban. Barry needs every Vote he can get, and the Anti Gunner's count the same as any other. Can't afford to let the Base sit this one out in protest, right?

I live near that mall. The police station is like a mile away and it still took them 5 mins to get there?

Really?

A wounded 3 year old? Who the hell takes a 3 year old to a midnight movie?

He had four weapons. A Remington 870 shot gun, a AR15, and two Glock 40's. And one of those was found in his car. The 3 month old is OK. I'm just waiting to find out why he did it. And hoping that O-loser stays out of it.
