Anyway, I was filling out forms. There were lots of questions like; what meds are you taking, past medical history, do you smoke, do you drink, etc. The questions started to get much more personal. Do you have AIDS, Herpes, and a list of other things I had never heard of. And then it was, do you wear seat belts? and finally:
Do you have guns in your home?
WTF? I asked for another form and did not fill in anything. Let them ask. I would tell them it was none of their damn business to their face.
--Good thing he didn't ask if I had a gun on me. He may not have like the answer.

I'd heard of this type of thing, but never known anybody to encounter it. Yeah, it is none of their damn business.
I encountered this with a new doc, some years back. I didn't complete the form, and found a new doc. Turns out, her husband was a cop, and guns were no big deal.
"Do you have any guns in your home"
is answered with
"It's irresponsible NOT to!"
BTW, That tattoo is a good way to get yourself killed in an encounter with the police.
Damn... I wouldn't be answering either...
Had this happen years ago in NJ. Wrote in reply, "Yes, dozens, and thousand of rounds of ammunition". The Doc said it was an AMA form and she thought it was garbage. [FYI: she happened to be a very liberal Jewish lady. Strange, but true!]
