MOVIE: Halloween
Donald Pleasence - Halloween, 1978
Tis the season for some of my favorite fright films. As always I keep my eyes open for gun action and I realized while watching tonight that Halloween actually hand a gun!
"Halloween is a 1978 horror film directed by John Carpenter and featured a breakout performance by Jamie Lee Curtis. The film would spawn 7 sequels as well as the 2007 remake and 2009's H2, both directed and written by Rob Zombie."
"Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasence) in his pursuit of Michael Myers uses a Smith & Wesson Model 15. This was the weapon used in firing the infamous six shots into Michael Myers' chest in the final scene of the film. This particular weapon was fitted with target stocks, instead of the more common slimline Magna stocks of the same era."
--This is just as good now as it was in 1978!
