I Have a Dream

Fifty years ago Martin Luther King gave his famous "I Have a Dream" Speech. They were excellent words. I wish people would listen to those words. "a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." Looking at photos of the crowd that day it was full of suits and ties, not hoodies and Trayvon shirts.

They are re-writing MLKs legend. They forget that he was actually a Republican. They forget that the Democrats were the party of segregation, and even slavery.

They want to forget that MLK was a gun owner and big supporter of the Second Amendment. They want to forget that the Dems spear headed the 1968 Gun Control laws specifically to disarm blacks in California.

In his speech today, former President Clinton dishonored MLK further by saying
"A great democracy does not make it harder to vote than it does to buy an assault weapon,"
.
Clinton's words came in reference to voter identification laws being passed all over the country which require voters to show government issued photo identification in order to vote.

Well sir. I kind of agree. They are both Rights. To buy a rifle you can't be a felon, a illegal drug user, an illegal alien and you have to show two forms of ID and wait while they confirm your identity. Make them equal.

--Holy shit! Did I just agree with Bill Clinton?
