Yep, only problem would be getting to the items in a hurry... And rip off artists would probably thing you had guns in there, so they'd be stealing it (it looks all military and s**t, must be guns somewhere)...
Heh. I used a cheap-assed airsoft quality "plate carrier" to do the same thing. Hung it on the back of the passenger seat, so I can reach the first aid kit while belted in the driver's seat. Used the extra MOLLE strips to hold fast food utensil sets where my daughter can reach them if she's in the back seat and trying to eat something.
