The park is really beautiful. The lake is very clean and has a great family beach.
What it doesn't have is security, safety or sanity. Draconian Gun Laws in NY left me disarmed my entire stay. Most of my shotguns even have to high capacity tub mags.
Talking with my college pals They thought I could have brought a single shot 20ga if it had a trigger lock and separate ammo storage. Two of my buddies have CCPs in NYS. They both carry .357 revolvers. It is also very difficult to get an out of state CCP for New York.

PA? You can't carry in PA with a VA permit anymore.

Anon is correct. My FL non-resident however is not honored any longer. I live in MD and have no other option.
