I keep thinking about the upside-down nature of our lives right now: right is wrong, left is right, etc.
It dawns on me that we conservatives have sat still and watched as the hippies and counter-culture beatniks of the 60's and 70's have come into power. I think about the struggle they engaged in, from the '69 Democratic Convention, to protests over pollution, "equal rights," and whatever other liberal cause you want to throw in there. They were ignored, beaten, ridiculed, and then they won. We have the same hard struggle in front of us. From the government snooping, the leftist-activist judges and their twisting of our laws, to the destructive nature of both political parties, they are doing the same things to conservatives that were done to them in their era of struggle. We have a long battle ahead of us, but we have to win.
