This is a hand made knife that I bought from a knife maker.
This has so many things that just feel right. It's so sharp I can literally shave with it. The grip and balance in my hand are smooth and natural.
The materials are also visually lovely.
I bought it originally as a working knife but it has remained on my roll top desk as a piece of art.

Assembling a knife is fairly easy. MAKING a blade, and building a beautiful and useful blade is a little more elusive.
Start with a kit from Texas Knifemakers Supply or North Coast Knives and tinker. That's what I'm STILL doing 10 years later :)
