Random Thursday

Murder rate is up 30% in Washington DC. Lots of people killed with firearms. Even though their possession is still illegal there. BTW, murder is also illegal there.

I am completely covered in cat hair and drool. Bailey is very needy today, even though I have already fed him.

More race riots in St. Louis. Some asshole pointed a gun at cops and they shot him. So of course riots and tear gas.

Regal movies theaters are now starting to search bags and backpacks. I expect that to last a few weeks before it fades away.

I saw Charles Barkley on TV while channel surfing. I like this guy.

--Need coffee now. Need it bad.

Interesting Graphic

I find this interesting. I believe that in the future there will be much more role differentiation in the armed forces. Everything from lightly equipped to advanced snipers to heavily armored ground forces. I also expect advanced in firearms.

--Don't forget the new drone soldiers.

Randon Busy Days

Two weeks from today is the deadline for my next novel. All my spare time will focused there after work. It is coming out really excellent.

I found a huge supply of subsonic .300 Blackout this weekend. The problem is it was all over $1 a round. Even in quantity it's still high. I can find it now. I'll take it.

It's going to be super hot outside today. But now the "experts" on TV are saying surface temps have nothing to do with climate change and temps have not actually changed at all for the last 18 years. Plus, it's too complicated for the average person to understand. Bite me.

I have decided my next buy is going to be another Glock 17. Two is one and all. Not exciting, not pretty, but high utility.

I am going to help a friend, that does not have a lot of spare cash, put a basic AR-15 together. I have a big pile of items I have swapped out for upgrades. Stocks, grips, foregrips, sights, mags, charging handles and other random parts will give him a leg up.

--Happy Monday. Drink Coffee!

Violence

--Violence is rarely the answer, but when it is... it is the only answer.

Random Friday!

Sharia law Arabic: شريعة) is the body of Islamic law. The term means "way" or "path"; it is the legal framework within which the public and some private aspects of life are regulated for those living in a legal system based on Islam. The stated goal is to have the entire world subject to Sharia law.

It has NO place in my government.

Just as we are not a Muslim nation, we are not a Christian nation. We may be a Nation with a lot of Christians but separation of Church and State ensures Sharia Law is stopped.

I got an awesome new laptop yesterday. It was my first, tax deductible, purchase with my royalties!

The county fair is open. Can you say demolition derby!

PC Police have no sense of humor. For future reference, If you ask me about a babysitter and I recommend Benadryl and duct tape, it's a joke.

I am buying more tools for my gun room. Who knew that a rawhide hammer was so awesome?

--Happy Friday!

Weekly Comic Wednesday

--I don't think she will make it through the primaries before she pulls out for "health" reasons.

Sighting in

This is a good graphic to help you know how to sight in a simple AR-15.

I found this over at www.recoilweb.com with other good info.

Last Day

Tonight is my last night camping. Vacation will be over on Saturday. Regular programming for this blog will begin again on Sunday.

There will be talk about guns, famous quotes, weekly cartoons on Wednesdays, and even a few little notes about new books being published.

See you on Sunday!

Building an AR15

Sitting around the fire the last few days we were discussing our various ARs.

This convinced one of our members to build an AR 15 from scratch. It turns out he will have a huge Headstart because everyone of us that already have A.R. 15's also have giant boxes full of spare parts.

Everyone has extra stocks, pistol grips and foregrips. Even spare flip up sights and red dot sights.

Might be the cheapest AR build ever.

I built this AR that way. I spent more on the car than the rest of the rifle.

Wow. It's Sunday.

The first week of my vacation is now over. One week to go.

Help me slow this train down!!

It's going too fast!!
