When I was at Clark Brothers this weekend I was checking out the consignment rack. I noticed a Winchester 94, lever action, .44 magnum, rifle.
I now really want one. I love my S&W .44mag. I would long to get a companion carbine for the revolver. The one I was looking at had a 24 inch barrel and a tube mag that holds 12 rounds of .44mag.
I would just use iron sights on it. It would make a good deer hunting rifle! Add a sling and it would be good.
--Might even be a good gun for the fireplace mantel!
Shoot it, to hell with hanging it over the mantle! :-)
ReplyDeleteBuy it. Surprised it hasn't been shipped off to the New York Volksrepublik yet.
ReplyDeleteIt holds 12 rounds. Not legal in NY.
ReplyDeleteI've a '94 in .45LC. Love it.
ReplyDeleteGet the .44. You wont be disappointed.
That's shiny. I think I have to update my wish list now.
ReplyDeleteNot to go all non american, but Rossi makes a 16" version in stainless steel that holds 8 rounds that is on my drool list.
ReplyDeleteweighs in at under 5lbs. Talk about a walking around hunting rifle there... Strong enough medicine to take anything in north america with the right ammo
I saw that one. I was interested in the 24" barrel after I handled one. The extra length and rounds was good for me.
