There is a new show on the National Geographic Channel called:
DOOMSDAY PREPPERS
There is lots of gun content on the first couple episodes. Crappy OPSEC though.
I find it interesting that many of my friends are both shooters and preppers.
It's an interesting show that calls out a lot of what if scenarios.
--Why would someone be on this show? How the hell do they find people for the show?

ReplyDeleteA guy on the show Doomsday Preppers has been declared a mental defective and had his guns seized.
I was wondering if the show was edited yo make them look more crazy.
Bad OPSEC is right. A few good ideas there. Lots of bad ideas. Lessons either way.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't these survivalists realize that being physically fit is way more important. Half of them are on disability. They are overweight. They could not cover 20 miles in one day with a pack and a rifle.

ReplyDeleteBecause these are the ones that NatGeo could convince to go on TV, which shows a decided lack of attachment to reality, wouldn't you say?
I buy an extra case of canned goods or bulk food once a month at Costco. In no time I had a years worth of food. Easy to store in one basement closet.
ReplyDeleteStoring water is WAY harder for me. The show is entertainment. Maybe sparks good ideas.
These people that don't believe in guns are so stupid. F%cking hippies.
On the latest ep that guy actually shot himself in the thumb. Sheesh.
