Advanced HUD Systems

A friend sent me this picture showing what he said is a British Soldier using a new HUD based set of optics.

This rig looks like it has the kitchen sink. It probably has one or more of the following:
  • HUD Targeting
  • Vid recording
  • Low Light Amplification
  • Infrared
  • Data feeds
  • LASER Sight
  • Flash light
  • Beer bottle opener
In time these will get smaller, lighter and have better integration.

    French rifle, a variant of their FAMAS bullpup weapon. The giveaways are the folding bipod and the buttstock.
    The burdened weapon depicted reminds me of an AR that made an appearance last weekend at Nancy's...
